Pentax Optio 750z Kodak DC4800

Pentax zoomed as far as possible

Kodak zoomed as far as possible
IMGP0026.JPG
From photos at top, cropped and zoomed in with Photoshop.
Despite foggy conditions, clearly visible are individual lights and trees.
Pentax camera was sitting on Kodak camera which was attached to tripod.
DCP_9962.JPG
Cropped and zoomed to approx. same size in Photoshop.
Obviously, the devil's in the details. Clearly visible is nothing...
IMGP0025.JPG
Biggest difference here is that Pentax has a narrower start angle (Pentax: 37-187mm v Kodak: 28-84mm)
DCP_9961.JPG
IMGP0022.JPG
Zoomed in all the way, from a distance of just under 20 feet.
DCP_9958.JPG
Ditto zoomed in. The lack of flash with any distance is obvious.
IMGP0019.JPG
Similar, warmer colors in Kodak version, more detail when zoomed in
DCP_9956.JPG
IMGP0004.JPG
Pentax clearly taking the warmth out of this picture. Definitely a desire by the white balance to find a white...

IMGP0023.JPG
Seems better at pulling in shadow detials and highlights here.
DCP_9960.JPG
IMGP0017.JPG
Clear.
DCP_9955.JPG
Clearly the flash is old and tired...
