The only lighting comes from that torchier lamp in the corner, the builder installed NO lights in this room. None.

Big Changes!

Paint: Done. From cold white to warm french sonnet.

Lighting: First up to be addressed... Venetian handblown glass chandelier bought in Santa Fe and installed, new can lights and wall sconces over fireplace.

Furnishings: out with the old...doggy couches and in with the new... black leather chairs, rug, Jackson occasional chair & settee, Bibliotechque bookcase

Coming soon: Decorations & misc. such as a side dresser, large mirror, tables, ottoman, seating cubes, wall art and grate, photos, drapes, etc...

First we designed the room online. Very cool!

Drapes added, and they add so much! See my learning curve regarding just what drapes are. The room's finally coming together!

I've got BIGGER pix of the Library as a comparison between our shiny new Pentax Optio 750z camera, as compared with the trusty ol' Kodak DC4800.
