Max is 2 today!!!
This picture gives a good sense of just how tall the little guy's getting. He went with Daddy to the Pediatrician this morning (gotta remember to stop saying veterinarian).
He was great about going to the doctor's until we got back to the exam room and he suddenly remember this whole routine from a few months ago when he was ill -- which included lots of unpleasant shots.
He cried a bit while they took measurements, but was otherwise okay, thanks to a well-placed "firetuck" in the toy bin. There were no shots, for which he was thankful.
As of today (his 2nd birthday), he is 34+ inches tall, and weighs in at a slim 26 pounds.
Max's 2nd Birthday with Cupcakes!
We enjoyed a fun afternoon of cooking cupcakes, making some amazingly rich buttercream frosting, and occasionally putting the frosting on the cupcake before eating it...
Max eats cupcakes on his 2nd birthday and helps Mom in the kitchen.
Maxwell and Mom enjoy cupcakes, fish balloons and candles. Actually, Max was a bit worried about the balloon for two reasons. First, it was a bit big and scary. Second, he was concerned it was going to float away and kept asking us to tie it down to something.

Max gets 2nd Birthday in the mail
Grandma O'Neill sent a couple items in the mail so Max was playing with his new toys and reading his cards and such with Bailey.
