New Deck Chairs & Sunny Afternoons

Fuzzy bought some new deck chairs from a local craftsman she saw at a downtown weekend market.

He delivered them a few days ago!

Yard sale!

Kathy did some good shopping early Saturday morning at a local yard sale. She picked up a lawn mower for Max, as well as a tool belt and some other cool toys.

A Fisher Springtime

It's truly springtime around Golden, Colorado. A warm spring, as it's been creeping towards 80F here this first week of May, which is hot enough with Colorado's bright, penetrating sunshine.

We've already started some good gardening, and despite Dad's best efforts, Max is famously interested in spending hours at a time outside... So we've moved up the timeframe for finishing the front porch and patio so we can sit and enjoy as Max runs around.

Dad and Max water the plants and get the small rock area next to the walkway prepped for a flagstone and woodchip patio.

More watering, those plants sure are thirsty!

Max shows some dexterity as he scampers about the rock retaining wall of the front garden.

Ahhh! The flowers bloom mightily, and have a mighty thirst. Max works to quench it with his blue watering can, refilled often by Mom's bigger watering can.

Max looks for more parched plants and wanders around the front yard.

Taking a break from all that hard work, Mom and Max enjoy some crisp olive-oil draped broiled asparagus tips. Bailey sees them chowing and realizes he'll get nothing here today.
