Maxwell (with a little help from Mommy) bought Dad a cool T-shirt. It says "birthSOCCERdeath"
Cool!
Here we were making a little fresh-squeezed lemonade on Father's Day morning.
When life gives you a cute kid and a bunch of lemons, make lemonade!
Horseplay always seems to add to both the enjoyment of the moment, and the length of the moment... :-)
Max went outside to enjoy his waffle on the deck this morning...
Not big on the too-high wooden chairs, Max chooses to eat his waffle up against the wall, where he can also keep an eye on a skulking doggy.
Yep, Memorial Day 2004 at the zoo!
Max and the Fisher's joined the merriment as everyone decided the perfect weather was a perfect opportunity to head to the Zoo!
It was definitely Spring. There's a new baby gorilla, baby giraffes, and hundreds of baby humans and pregnant women running around. Well, mostly the husbands were running around chasing the kids as the ladies waddled through the park.
Kathy and I and Max joined them and loved our time walking the circuit. It's a great zoo, and it'll be better when they get the renovations finished! Well, we did bring the camera with us, so here's a few shots from the day.
Mom & Max visit the ol' Pachyderm Patch, with elephants being the first "aminals" we saw!
We soon found the little train that goes through the center of the park. Doesn't see much, just a few flamingos and whatnot, but it was fun (for Dad & Max anyway).
Daddio and Maxwell watch the kitties at the zoo...
Max and the Hippo! (and Mommy)
Max enjooooyyyyys his PB&J in front of the Zoo's camel range
I mean, he reallllly enjoys that sandwich. BTW — that's a Bactrian camel in the background, which is a two-humped camel vs. the one-humped Dromedary
Max & Mom get friendly with the local Peacocks
Some beeeeutiful green-tinted plumage on that there bird
